Buttery sweet comfort treats

Ingredients for 30-40 cookies

For the cookies

  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp STROH 80
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 g wheat flour T480
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • zest of half of an organic lemon

 

For the glaze

  • 1 pack chocolate glaze
  • 1 pack punch glaze
  • 1 tbsp STROH 80

 

Preparation

For the cookies

  • Preheat the oven to 170 °C fan.
  • Whip the butter and sugar until frothy.
  • Add STROH and eggs and keep whipping.
  • Incorporate flour, salt, and lemon zest into the mixture and whip the dough until it reaches a smooth and uniform consistency.
  • Pour the dough into a piping bag with a star nozzle.
  • Pipe circles or sticks on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let the cookies cool.

 

For the glaze

  • Heat the glazes according to the instructions on the pack.
  • Mix with a little STROH.
  • Carefully dip the cookies into the glazes, place on baking paper and allow to cool.
  • Put the finished cookies in a cookie tin and store with an apple until they become tender.
