Preparation dough

Using a whisk mix eggs, yeast, sugar, milk, rum and salt together. Add flour and incorporate. Add the butter and knead well. Cover the dough, allow to rest for 1 hour.
Knead one more time, divide into 16 pieces. Shape into round balls. Cover the dough and let them rise for another hour.
Heat oil in a pot to about 150°C. Slowly fry the „Krapfen“ on one side for a few minutes. Flip them upside down and fry on the other side as well. Remove them from the fat and pad them dry with some kitchen paper.
Mix rum and jam and fill it in an icing bag. Fill the warm Krapfen with rum infused jam. Dust with powdered sugar.
