The beloved and versatile sauce classic

Cocktail sauce made its breakthrough alongside shrimp and seafood. However, nowadays it pairs well with almost anything. Pleasantly fruity and delightfully aromatic, it adds a burst of flavor to any dish.

Ingredients for 4 Servings

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 100 ml corn oil
  • 5 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp STROH 40
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • red chilies to taste



  • Using a whisk, slowly drizzle oil into the yolks while constantly stirring, until it looks like mayonnaise.
  • Mix together with STROH and ketchup.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add chilies to taste.
