Chocolate bliss you’ll melt for.

Drinking hot chocolate is the most delicious way to warm up on chilly days and indulge in pure chocolate joy. Enhanced with a hint of STROH and colorful sugar decorations, every cup of milk becomes a little luxury – guaranteed to make you go “OH!” with every sip. Perfect for gifting or enjoying yourself.

INGREDIENTS FOR 8 Servings

 

To prepare:

  • 8 disposable plastic cups
  • 8 cake pop sticks or wooden teaspoons

 

Ingredients for hot chocolate on a stick:

  • 150 g liquid dark couverture chocolate (30 °C)
  • 100 g liquid white couverture chocolate (28 °C)
  • A pinch of gingerbread spice or cinnamon

 

Ingredients for 1 cup of hot STROHcolate:

  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 Serving of Hot Chocolate on a Stick
  • 1 tbsp STROH 80 or 2 tbsp STROH 60
  • Sugar sprinkles (e.g. Dr. Oetker Glamour Mix)

 

PREPARATION

Hot chocolate on a stick:

  • Stir each couverture chocolate with the spice and divide evenly into the plastic cups.
  • Insert sticks or spoons into the filled cups and let the chocolate set.
  • For a light-and-dark version, pour the chocolates in alternating layers, letting each layer firm up slightly before adding the next.
  • Once set, remove the drinking chocolates from the plastic cups.
  • Optional: Wrap them lovingly in cellophane and tie with a ribbon for gifting.

 

1 cup of hot STROHcolate:

  • Stir the milk together with STROH 80 or STROH 60 and heat gently.
  • Once the milk is hot, remove the pot from the heat.
  • Place the drinking chocolate into a mug and pour the hot milk over it.
  • Let it sit for about 3 minutes, until the drinking chocolate has fully melted.
  • Stir well before serving.
  • Top with whipped cream and colorful sugar decorations.
