Beat the sugar and whole eggs until the mixture becomes light. Lightly moisten crumbs with rum. Careful that not too much rum is used here and the crumbs are floating in liquid. Alternate crumbs and nuts with a snow rod. Grease cake with butter and sprinkle with crumbs. Empty the mixture into it and bake at 180 degrees for about 40-45 minutes. Allow the cake to cool and then cut in half and cover top with the jam. Put the upper part of the pie back on. Beat whipped cream and cover the cake with it. Now cover with the grated nuts and decorate with whole nuts.
